Radical Romance

Radical Romance.
What can you really say about it? I mean, isn't every romance radical in it's own special way, whether it is in movies or in real life? I can honestly say that I've never experienced love or romance in my 20 years of life, but I have seen it first hand, and I've seen how it can go from great to wonderful and even take a downward spiral and end in a break up. Now, if we're looking at it in film, literature, and cyberspace are we really going to be getting an accurate look at what real romance is? Most movies out there only portray the typical romance: boy meets girl, they fall in love, things get rocky, then in the end they realize they can't live without each other. The only movie I've seen that doesn't have that ending is THE BREAK UP with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. Literature is the same way, except Shakespeare seems to enjoy killing off his characters or causing them major distress in some way. And really, he expects us to look at "romance" in cyberspace?? Is there such thing? I honestly can't believe that looking on the internet for love is what our society has come to, how did the world find love before that? I don't really know what to expect with this particular subject, but I'm excited to see what's in store for us.
